Fire Prevention Week

Current Event

Participating Department

News came by mail on Feb. 14, 2012 (in the form of a certificate and apparatus decals) that our application to become one of PA's certified departemts had been approved and that our members long hours and hard training have paid off! As of today, Beaver Meadows Vol. Fire Co. #1 became only the 5th department (out of 21) in Carbon County to achieve this recognition. This is something that we all have worked hard for and something that we are, and will be for some time, very proud of. The community we proudly serve will now see the decals on our apparatus that display our certification recognition and have the comfort in knowing that their local department is training and striving to provide the best fire and rescue services possible.

Operation Save A Life

The fire company has a limited number of smoke detectors available for residents. Interested persons should call the firehouse at 570-459-2874 and leave a message and a firefighter will return the call.
